George & His New Heartaches from Berlin is an internationally occupied Honky tonk, Country and Western Swing band and brings perfect retro sound and heartbreaking melodies for dancing cowboys and cowgirls to the stage. Forget the polished radio-country – here comes the real fabric. Catapult yourself directly from the heart of Berlin George & His New Heartaches back to the golden era of dancehalls. With a sound that is as dusty as a highway in Virginia and as elegant as a tuxedo in Nashville, the international quintet celebrates the Honky-Tonk and Western Swing of the 40s to the 60s.
Date of birth George Aschmann from Virginia (USA) to violin and microphone, the band delivers two-part guitar reefs and weeping steel guides that break your heart and then ruin your dancing shoes. With George's boat, there are also other musical portraits, the Australian Jack B. Latimer (guitar/gesang), Hawaii-Steel specialist Sebastian, jazz veteran Martin on the electric guitar and the double bass expert Malte.
