The Cologne-based duo Stereo Naked are the New Zealand double bassist Pierce Black and the banjo player Julia Zechwhen they conjure their audience with this unusual combination. They found themselves on the Cologne Bluegrass scene and have developed their own folky "naked" sound on this basis. A transversal vibe and an aesthetic authenticity that comes to many concert visitors.
After many miles, adventure tours through Europe from Ireland to Lithuania, her second album "Our Course" was released in 2022. On British soil it is particularly appealing, it is played on the radio several times in the BBC and also the German radio says: "With simple and beautiful harmony singing over calm finger picking, Stereo Naked will enchant a few sun rays on the soul."
With their live concerts, great charm on dry humor and every song is a small hand-shaped story. What Stereo Naked creates is their common passion, namely to get the Bluegrass out of his niche and to use it with their songwriting playful and touching for a broad audience. What they do has no calculus, no filter. Just like the two are and sound.
